Short-Term Disability insurance is “paycheck” protection and pays a percentage of your salary if you become temporarily disabled for a period of weeks. Common short-term disability claims include injury, pregnancy and minor surgeries. This is a 100% employer paid benefit provided at no cost to you. All active full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week in an eligible class are eligible for coverage on the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions may apply.
